I’m not afraid of hard times anymore—I’m only afraid of not being brave enough to do what I was put on this earth to do.
I watched women — brilliant, gifted, wise women — slowly disappear. over time. Not all at once. Piece by piece. Because someone told them they weren't special enough. Didn't know enough. Weren't smart enough. Weren't enough, period.
And they believed it. Just like them, I once believed it too.
Over time, we stop showing up as ourselves. We shrink. We serve everyone else on their terms and forget we even HAD terms. Our passions go quiet. Our dreams collect dust. And we become a shell of the person we were born to be — with a warehouse full of untapped wisdom, gifts, and talent going to waste even though the world desperately needs them.
This isn't just a women's issue. I see it in men too.
We lose our identity. We lose our purpose. And when we lose those — we lose our ability to create, or even see, a life of wealth. It becomes a pipe dream that lives way outside of our reach. We give up. Hell.. we start to just exist.
